Shaman Peter is a Spiritual Guide, Executive Advisor and Author. He struggled with addiction most of his life, feeling stuck and lost for many years despite relentless pursuit of passion, education and bettering himself. He failed many times in his career and personal life. And, now he is a Happy Father and Husband Living his Best Life in Mexico!! He thrives as a Creative, and Loves to Sing & DANCE!!!
He has led over 100+ programs internationally, had a successful waterfront business in Newport Beach, been featured in festivals USA, Mexico & Bali, serves as a Guide to Founders, Executives, Healers & Leaders to Remember Their Souls Calling. He Initiates Thee Initiator.
He has 8 years of curriculum based education with a degree in Kinesiology, certified as Kundalini Yoga & Meditation Teacher, Asian Healing Arts Therapist, Reiki Master, Craniosacral Therapist among a laundry list of other Healing modalities...
He studied, served alongside &/or apprenticed with many Spiritual Masters from December 2012 - December 2018 including: a Peruvian Shaman, an Enlightened Yogini from India, a Yavapai Windcreek Elder, an Auricle, a Lakota Chief and a Medicine Woman to thee UN.

Do I need to already be a healer to join?
No. You do not need to already identify as a healer. This training is for those who feel a sincere calling toward healing, intuition, sacred space-holding, ritual, energy work, embodied presence, or soul-led service. You only need to arrive willing to listen, feel, learn, and remember.
Is this training only for people already working in the healing arts?
No. This may be for massage therapists, bodyworkers, yoga teachers, coaches, facilitators, holistic practitioners, and spiritual guides — however it may be for those who feels called toward a deeper path of service.
What will we explore during the initiation?
You will be guided through teachings and practices connected to thee Inner Healer, embodied healing, energetic awareness, ritual, sacred practice, space-holding, presence, the medicine of your story and soul-led service.
Is this a certification?
This is first and foremost a sacred initiation training. It is designed to help you deepen your gifts, strengthen your intuition, develop your capacity to hold space, and embody your own healing presence. This is a level 1 training certification on thee path of Becoming a Shamanic Healer. This is becoming a continued education program with Yoga Alliance.
What is included?
Thee training includes daily yoga and meditation, anatomy/philosophy/theory lectures, hands-on practicum, intuitive cultivation exercises, ritual and ceremonial practices, energy awareness and clearing tools, a training manual with journal prompts, space-holding practices, integration, sacred community connection, food, accommodations, and transportation.
Where does the training take place?
The first edition takes place in Playa Del Carmen / Riviera Maya, Mexico, June 19–29, 2026. The second edition is listed for Bacalar, Mexico, November 7–17, 2026.
Do I have to be deeply spiritual to attend?
You do not need to fit into any specific spiritual identity. What matters most is sincerity, openness, reverence, and a willingness to meet yourself honestly. This is a space for those who feel called by something deeper and are ready to listen.
Will there be hands-on practice?
Yes. This training includes practicum skill development and hands-on training, along with energy awareness, space-holding, embodiment, ritual and integration practices.
Is this training emotionally intense?
Yes. It may be deep. It may be tender. It may be transformational. Thee container is designed to honor your sensitivity, humanity, questions, edges and unfolding. You are not expected to perform. You are invited to arrive with honesty, humility and willingness.
What happens after I apply?
After you apply, thee next step is to make sure this initiation is truly aligned for you, your path, and thee group container. This is not simply about filling a room. It is about gathering thee right souls for a sacred and intentional experience.
Bacalar, Mexico

The Bacalar edition of Awakening Thee Healer Within will be held at Akalki, a sacred holistic sanctuary resting beside the luminous waters of Bacalar’s Lagoon of Seven Colors. This edition invites you into a quieter, more elemental initiation — surrounded by water, sky, stillness, prayer, and nature’s deep remembering.
Akalki offers a refined yet earthy retreat setting with overwater bungalows, private suites, a healing center, conscious cuisine at La Botika, yoga and wellness spaces, and a private natural sanctuary just outside downtown Bacalar. It is a place designed for deep rest, inner reconnection, ceremony, and embodied transformation.
